I have heard of the Nandopsis Beani and heard it is the most rare and aggressive cichlid in the hobby. I'm trying to find info on it but can't find it on google or any search engines. Does anyone have info on it or owned one before?

The Holy Grail of cichlids.
Mean as hell like most the Nandopsis species.
They seem to have similar spots like that of a Dovii or a RT Motaguense, but not the same body.
Good lucky finding one is all I can say.

They are not Nandopsis, the only Nandopsis species are haitiensis, tetracanthus, and ramsdeni. Beani is currently classified under "Cichlasoma", you could try searching with that name.

Lies. I don't know if it's the most rare.........

Pretty darn close IMO. Unless you can list some others that are more rare.

I've seen a few pictures of them use yahoo search i found some with that, they look somewhat like wild Oscars in terms of coloration and that tail spot. I also found some picture on ****************

Actually there is no Cichlasoma now, it would be exCichlasoma

How about Cichlasoma Orantum? I think this is more rare than the Beani.
