i had one it came out and swam at night to get some goldfish but thats only because it had to compete for food because he was in with cichlids, but then i put him in his own 10 hid all day didnt even move to get his food, just sat there

I thought he was quite unique looking.. love his big burly looking face..glad i got to see one anyway and this one was about 8 inches and he wanted $25...which was a great price to me.kyleking007;1066626; said:ive got one i had him in a 55g with my monos and scat and archer and he never bothered them. the monos checked him when they where added and he snapped at them then they knew not to mess around with him. he is now in his own 29g and he is out a lot and moves a lot (for a stonefish) during the day even. but yeah they can be kinda boring but a good conversation fish.

I had previously gotten a baby one 2-3" and he couldn't compete for food and eventually jumped ship.
But at my lfs, they had two of the much bigger stone fish, each about 8-9" and I had to pick one up, at only 30 bucks I felt it was too good of a deal to pass up.

I accidently distrubed mine tonight, as I had done awhile ago to the same result, and they can croak REALLY loud.
