There are but they're super rare and as fishrmann2 said no way you would know yet the thing has no color. I actually miss the monos I sold li. :(


I have a super duper azul, looks just like a mono though but don't be turned away by that.. $500.00 is a good price.. any takers?

Well is his pictures the real-deal reference? I had a mono that looked IDENTICAL to that and killed it...should I be mad at myself?

u should cuz u will never know wat u get till its about 12"!!!! thats why ima keep mine till it gets that big then i will deside wat i will do with it.well the thing about mine is it has the black marking on its forhead that was the first thing that threw me off then it has the gold dots that r forming now and the gold on the black line that is connected to the gold ring in the back tail.u have to see it face to face to really see it all cuz the camera took it off some of the coloration as u should know that the camera takes some of the colors away. so dont judge a book by its cover!!!!lesson learn!!:headbang2 :headbang2

Well leemacc let me be the first to appologize to you for doubting you about the super mono deal and I do hope that your pbass does in fact end up being one; but I would like to know though even if these variants are rare should or would they have a larger price tag than an azul:confused: :confused: It a very nice pbass no doubt very nice, and I can see that it should go for alot more than any mono or tem or orino I'd say, but more than an azul. WOW

first of all appology excepted!!! and yes the price would be more cuz u cant just go to the pet store and get one,or may be u can hahaha like i said u have to get lucky cuz the batch the lfs gets some time theres one wild or maybe a few super in it cuz they all look the same.so u just have to buy it and wait it out to see if u get lucky but once u find out u have something so rare u would not want to sell it hahaha.the reason i wanted to sell mine is,im going for a piranha shoal instead. so yeah good luck to all, happy fish shopping!!! and pet store hopping hahaha!!!!

J/K lol we are all here to learn right? now you all know not to say nothing till you know everything. eman- super monos are monoculus from rio negro,tele pires, etc anthony had some and called them cichla sp. gold . they are like rhoms some look good and some look super good. :):chillpill:
