Information about Frontosas please.

I'd buy 8 juvies... You'll probably end up with 6 or 7 adults. That will leave room in the tank for a cleanup crew and possibly even some comps or calvus or something like that (maybe two or three).

ive kept 9 adult frontosa in my 180 it was a 6x2x2 the alpha male was 10.5 inch as long as the filtration is good enough youll be fine mate!!!!!
as for tankmates usually frontosa are better kept by them selves ive got 2 syno catfish in my big tank but they are known eggeaters so they are not ideal for a breeding tank plus they will eat anyfry lying about!!!!!!!!!!!
if your buying fry then youd fit a good lot more in the tank i.m.o if you were getting fry i think it would be better to grow them on a little bit in a smaller tank and then add them when theyve put a little size on them just my opinion though!!!!
