Does anyone have any information or first hand knowledge of Amphilophus sp. "Yaxha Red Devil"? They just came in at our LFS, The Wet Spot and I was thinking about clearing a tank to get some of these.

"Yaxha" as in Guatemala, if so there aren't any Red Devils even close to the Peten...
Made up trade name, and this is exactly why I dislike trade names. No telling what they are selling under that name.
Labiatus is a red devil though. If there was a difference it would be color but over all structure should be the same.

I just a got back from The Wet Spot and picked up 6 of them. Apparently they are from Rusty Wessel's wild pair. I'll post pictures shortly.

LOL, so Rusty caught a fish he believes to be from the Amphilophus genus, in Guatemala, and used the term "Red Devil" to describe it?
I guess? It was affordable enough for me to take the dive as I have never heard of them.
