Interesting ground there, we got sand, sand and more sand here.

Double check for any Opals (you never know it could pay for this whole venture :screwy:).

Congrats on the whole marrying thing (misery loves company ) Hope you DF likes fish too.

Holler at the guys from your planet on the wholesale liner ... I know you don't want to pay shipping from mine :grinno:.

The back edge shots of the pond is good ground, nice and sticky and holds up well, the closest side was full of shale and stupp like something used to me there or got filled in (Is an old mining town so anything is possible!! LOL

Well, she Tolerates my fish! but i do catch her stareing at them sometimes but this could be just her thinking the best way to poision them!! LOL She also notices any time i have a new fish.....

Still need to find the liner but will have a look on the weekend.

pool filter would be best also you could also have a biotower

Ok how would these work?

Have not had much to do with anything but canisters and started getting into wet/drys...

the water is filter thrpough sand. thing is ur lookiong at roughly 700 for one ilter with pump. and without piping. also make it 9 feetwide atleast and 6ft deep everywhere

Just doing some ring arounds for the EPDM liner, anyone in Aus no a cheap place to get it from as the couple of quotes i have got have been $$$$

Cheers,
Brett

I think i will be going with the pond liner idea with a felt underlay

Just another suggestion. You can use carpet instead of underlay, and a sand base to keep the soft edges. (molds well too)

How are you getting on by the way?

Sort of at a standstilll at present, need to build up one end so it's level with concrete so waiting for my concreter mate to come back from over west in a couple of weeks.
