Injecting ink into fish?wtf

Dose anybody remember "painted glass fish" yes there injected with paint, that would usually fade in a few months.

yeh i remember those when i was a kid starting out i thought they looked cool and believed they were real till a family friend told me it was cruel and it was injected.
i dont see any dyed fish in my local fish shops now. i see less blood parrots as well which is great.

They had some Parrots at my LFS about 3-5 months ago that read "I heart you" on the side. Poor fish. lol.
