Keeping gars lately and trying hand feeding. Hope i wont get bitten. =P

Never been bit or even close with my piranhas, their scared of my hand but i guess if i didnt feed for a month they mite have a taste, if you were that young to not remember then you gmas lucky!


Most the damage has happened to my carpet from water but one time i had a "huejta gar" and i was moving him in a net and i covered it with my hand and he latched on to my middle finger, my gf was there so it was kinda embarrasing considering he was only 6-7" and i just flung him off when it happened it actually hurt lol. He lived and that hardly phased him

Alligator gars can easily strip a finger clean off
