You had what salinity? 1006?
And this is after wc's? You have put in too muxh salt for the ick.

Everything I read on salt treatment with ich said 6 parts per thousand, making it a salinity of 6 on the hydrometer(Instant Ocean hydrometer). Specific gravity 1.004. I have done two small water changes since the water here sucks and spikes nitrites every time I do(even with AmQuel + NovAqua).
You may be right, James. I never read anything. Just 40 years of experience and i have never neded so high a salinity for ich.
I believe your probkem is related to too much salt. .006 is half brackish...
Do a change of water and watch the nitrates.
