Probe dies causes calibration to go out. I use a bayright which displayed the correct temp right out of the box much better.

I just looked those up and they look pretty nice. I’d be interested to know how the unit and probe hold up long term. The only real downside I see to those versus the Inkbird controllers is that the only replacement probes available are white. I definitely would want black to blend in with my black background.
