Inline Heater

i dont want to neck down my 1 inch tubing on my fx5. i have a 300 watt hydor inline with my ehim filter. I also have a 300 watt glass heater in the tank right now but want it out because my rays will get burnt on it. i started making my DIY inline heater today, its big im going to put a 500 watt in it. just need one more part for it. it has 1 inch inlet and outlet, so there will be no issue of flow through it. what is everyone favorite type of heater
