inner pond with stingrays

thanks, appreciated...

that WAS a lovely set up...

the leaking incident is now solved, but it will take time to recover, especially the "green wall" above the tank... I had to throw away to garbage 8 years of plants growing. Without water on their roots, my Scindapsus, Philodendron and other epiphyts have died in 2 weeks.

Let's start again...

I can understand, the green wall would've taken some effort from your side to grow over the years.

barrels inside, at both side of the tank... Last spring, I had a leak on the former "out of the tank" filtration... NEVER AGAIN !

feeding monsters :
That exciting you were able to get the leak figured out. Sorry to hear about your green wall.

What were you feeding those guys, must take a while to get food down to the bottom dwellers. Those bass and aros must catch everything lol. I know I have to over feed my bass and spread it all out to get anything to the bottom of my tank.

not a real problem, I first feed the peacocks and Arowanas, and then, the stingrays, Acanthicus and Panaque. At first, in early 2011, I had to use a PVC pipe to let the food go down under, otherwise, the Peacocks (C. kelberi, at this time) were too fast
