Tank will be 72" by 24" footprint.

Thinking of going with one of the following setups
Pair of fluval 405
Pair of marine land 350 mangnum
Pair of Eheim 2026
Will probably run a Bio wheel 60 in addition to any of the above filters

I drive a semi, I have friends that will come feed my fish when I'm gone. But want to run dual filters so if one dies the other can handle the job till I get home. Normally gone 3-7 days.

Cost of all the units is in the same ballpark, so need input on wich is best, or if someone has other ideas I'm open to suggestions.

All the fish on my list will be in the tank.

After doing more reading, I'm leaning to a pair of Eheim 2026 filters. One would be able to handle the tank for a few days should the other die. Rated for 1050 l/h each. The other nice thing is that they would fit on the shelf below my 150 in back of the 75, in time the 75 will be replaced by a 125.

My typo should be 2028 in the above not 2026

If you do the math you will know your proposed filteration is not adequate.

1050 l/h = 277 g/h.
2 x 277 g/h = 554 g/h.

554 g/h divided by 150 g = 3.7 turnover rate. That's not enough.

I recommend 6 or higher in turnover.

BTW, the floor plan of the tank suggests that the height is 20"?

Correct on the height
