I used to frequent that shop often due to the epic thrift store next door. I mostly pop in for the laughs and the oddball fish. One incident in particular ruined it for me.
There was a 8" texas cichlid, I'm sure for $200-$300, but it had a very obvious and out of control fungal infection on it's face. I was disgusted by the price for a fungus, but also that the shop is run on a central system. Essentially everything in there was at risk, and anyone who brought anything home was putting their own fish at risk. Unbelievably unethical and borderline criminal. I said nothing to the kid making minimum wage behind the counter, just left and never returned.
