i have a Bearded Dragon and have been feeding him everything recently roaches, crix, superworms and fuzzy mice and my fish have had some treats this past few weeks just thought i would see if the anyone knew the nutritional value of worms roaches and mice for my fish.?
yeah you can feed insects, they are great for the fish, but not the mice, you want to try and avoid straight up land meat like that, as they would very rarely have this kind of meat in their natural diet
excellent thank you. i will continue to giving them random treats of worm and roaches. thy have there staple diet also aquadine nutritional system. have you guys ever heard of repashy superfoods? trying to see if they have a reputation.
Terrestrial animals like mice contain fats that cannot be broken down by Cichlids digestive system. These fats will stay will the fish and large amounts of these fats will cause health issues.
my cichlids went crazy over crickets. I would buy a dozen at a time when I only needed a couple for my one tarantula and feed the rest to the fish. They loved it!!!
