I watched a video on that Joey DIY on YouTube and he said he used cold water to feed his tank so he saved money lol I'm like nooo you now use electricity to heat the water.

I have a similar setup, however once the water goes thru my floor it drops into the pvc pipe and i keep a large rubbermaid container under that point just in case it freezes or clogs. My line (1/2" pvc) runs the length of the beams and out the vent in the foundation. It then runs down into the ground and i dug a trench and raised it to 1" pvc until it reaches my gutter line which drains into the garden. The other day i did freeze when it was about 3 degrees overnight so i raised the drip slightly to increase flow and so far so good.

Like vamp said, just watch nitrates to see how much to drip. Thing is, the more water you drip, the quicker your carbon filters need to be replaced. I'm planning on 40 GPD on my 540 Gallon, so I think you'll find that you only need to drip 20-40 GPD. Ya figure 40 GPD, that's 280 gallons in a week. That's almost your entire tank volume every week. I'm guessing if you just replace half the tank volume, that's plenty.

I don't know, though. My 3 stage chloramine block filters just shipped from Filter Guys today, so I haven't set mine up yet. We'll compare notes later!

That sounds even better!! Did you also put a P-trap in the line so the sewer gas doesn't enter the house?
