Intake for XP3: Alternatives? Color?

Paint it with Krylon fusion and let it cure for a day before using it again.

I do this always, I've even used Rustoleum for plastic and it works just as well.

Ok I am a little slow but when yall say cure you just mean to leave it out of the tank for a day or two to dry right, or is there some other way that I need to cure it if I go about doing this.

Just let it dry twice as long as the company recommends to be safe.
