Intelligence of sharks?

No, they aren't. I go into enrichment and the Shark brain in my eBook that will be coming out later this year. Sharks are very intelligent (for fish). I go over training basics, what behaviors to train for, and how these behaviors affect your overall care for the Shark or Ray.

I am looking foward to reading your book. Is your series on saltwater smarts done with? They were great articles. I am pretty sure the reproduction article insired me to get the skate eggs.

The elasmobranch series is pretty much as far as I am going to go with it. The book will be much more detailed anyway, and has taken up a considerable amount of my time. Interviews with some of the top elasmobranch minds in the country as well as pulling information from the Husbandry manual and making it digestible for the average aquarist as well as the most complete profile Guide available on everything from catsharks to blacknose sharks and Atlantic rays to cownose rays.
