So not wanting you to marry a person of another race is not racist. I think it is. Any time some says "Marry our own kind" realy does mean they have some thing against people with different color skin or people that come from a different part of the world.

It's not a racial thing. I feel the reason for parents wanting their kids to marry "their own kind" is just scared of of the cultural difference. Thats how I see it with my parents.
