Funny thing is, my cousin is the first to marry a non-Asian. She married a Jewish Canadian guy. He's really cool, but I have to make fun of her and remind how confusing she is because she's now a Jewish Canadian Asian from the South (Alabama). So she even has that Southern twang from time to time when she talks. And they're living in California, lol!

Did she change her religion as well?

I am mostly Irish with a little Scottish, but my family has been in America for a while... so white I guess. I am married to a white woman as well. In the past I have date Hispanic girls. In high girl I was dating, (youngest of 4 girls) parent all spoke spanish in the home and when I came over they hated me. Little did they know that I understand a lot of spanish, but they would talk about me all the time. That relationship did not last long. I minored in multicultural educaiton in college and I know how important culture is, but no one should stop a couple because of race.

The guy she married being Canadian has nothing to do with race. I don'T understand how she is jewish-canadian now? The kids they have would be jewish asian but it doesnt change her race.
