I'm well aware that they are very good nippers. However they're not doing any damage to any of their tank mates. The affinis sometimes messes with the smaller dat in its copious spare time but the dat always ends up chasing it away; and I must admit that it's very fun to watch them going at each other. I'm using the leporinus, besides my growing love for them, to curb the aggression of the smaller dat towards my two small pbass and between the dats and the single affinis. The two pbass have turned out to become blind and that requires my special attention/care at feeding time. I'm pointing my finger at the smaller dat as the culprit, but it's partly my fault for not separating them before the damages were done!
I must say, the leporinus are monsters in small package! They don't easily back down from the bigger fish no matter what. I would love to have your lep.
