I was just wondering if they are more active in an aquarium, as opposed to in a LFS? Do they settle down well, or are they one of those fish that could "live or die" after taking it home? Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I'm trying to find a definitive answer to how big ropefish get, and I've NEVER seen a picture or video of all these supposed 3' ropefish.
Lets have some PROOF here. Link me to a picture, video, or some kind of published report. Lets see it. I've googled. I haven't seen a single damn picture of ropefish that I would estimate at over about 20".
