This morning as I and a couple of friends were walking to class we saw flashing orange lights in the cafeteria, and as I saw that a lady yelled, fire! We ran to the window and to our surprise we saw somebody on fire, just sitting there. We go to find out that this kid had walked into the cafeteria poured gasoline on himself and lit himself on fire. The school was evacuated, and the kid is now in critical condition. I wish I had never seen that, some things can't go unseen.

High school or college?

whoa, dude, earlier today I came across an article talking about that incident

crazy that you attend that school, even more crazy that you saw it happen

years ago when I saw a guy get hit by a car it freaked me out for a long time too. but dang, that's just on another level

When my brother saw it he ran downstairs and into the cafeteria. When he got down there a custodian had put the kid out with a fire extinguisher. He said he was just kneeling there not screaming or moving or anything. About 5 minutes before the incident he posted a suicide note on Facebook. He was only 16.

Damn...I'd think that at least one of the many news shows that come on throughout the day here would have at least some small amount of coverage of this tragedy.
