interesting fish with a slow grow rate

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
There are a few members who have gotten their Dats to grow to about 1' in a year, but most of us haven't had that luck. I want to say they average about 2"-3" per year.

might get one , do anybody know how munch they cost in the uk and were to get them

Red tailed payara H tatuia they grow really slow and look great in a group. Mine are coming up on a year and have grown close to a inch. They can reach 18'' or more nobody nows in aquariums. But in the wild they get alot bigger. There is no way possible to be dissapointed in a school of these.

Datnoids are really slow growing. They are also a pain to keep. What I mean is that even though all the conditions are perfect, the Datnoids might still not color up. I've kept Dats from 1"-7" and they just stressed me out with the growth rate and coloration. I got rid of them. The Doctor.
