Alright - it took approx. 45 minutes for all 5 crickets to drown in a bag of water (with occasional shaking of the bag). I finally got tired of waiting for them to waterlog and sink, so I just tossed them into the tank. --- it took approx. 2.4 seconds for my fish to find, rip apart and devour them. -- Awesome idea :) I think I will go buy more crickets :D

What fish didja have? my Gourami, Flying Fox, and Ram all seem uninterested in crickets but my Yoyos and my Clown go NUTS. And for some reason, crickets drown in my Lizard tank in like 10 minutes

CL's, Congo Tetras and Leaf fish were the quickest to react to the crickets being thrown in their tank. I don't think that my BGK got any...

I think I will go get a strainer and, fill something the same size as the strainer with water and then set it over the top so it pushes the crickets underwater....

why not just buy freeze dried crickets? No drowning and cheaper (at least around where I live) Crickets are about 17 cents each for small ones here

I have never seen freeze dried crickets for sale before? What store/type of store do you get yours at?

Just fed 6 or 7 to my fish :)

Yoyos went nuts, as usual, but for the first time today, my Clown Loach really got into it :D

I even think my new Pictus got one :headbang2
And my Flying Fox and my Ram picked up a few scraps. I even saw one of my Rafaels stirring :D
