Interesting small fish ideas...

Have you considered Stiphodon Gobies. The key for them is they feed off of bio-film or objects with a little algae allowed to grow on them. Very entertaining little gobies especially the males lol.
That's a great suggestion. Was thinking that just now.

Thats exactly what i have lol... just couldnt remember their damn name... The other goby species i have in there is the Zhu zi or something goby...

Also, thanks for all the suggestions everyone... seems now we are getting there... love some of the options listed, just my phone wont let me multi quote...

I don't have suggestions as to what else to add just yet but I would most definitely add more otos. Most places you read says a small group of 6 or so is the minimum but I would say its more like a solid dozen would be MY recommended minimum. They act very different when put in large groups as opposed to smaller groups. Far more outgoing and interesting to watch.

in my 75g when it was a community tank I kept 30 with a school of 40 peppered cories and 1m 3f pearl gouramis

I didnt add more otos in the tank coz i didnt want them to starve or fight the gobies for food till the tank was more established again...

Since other than the plants / bit of wood and a few rocks, most stuff in the tank is quite new...
