Interesting tank stand idea.

its an interesting idea, but i would be worried about it maybe cracking in the middle where there is no support, but then again, it might be fine.

I would be REALLY worried about the tank becoming stressed on something like that. The bottom frame isn't fully supported and who knows if the 2 pieces are completely level.
Looks like a disaster waiting to happen, IMO.

I have to say thats not an entirely bright idea. As above strees would eventually crack everything. Plus it could be very unstable as well as unlevel.

if properly supported and leveled(maybe plywood and 2X4s on top) it would be a nice addition to a tank especially if native, however storage would need to be somewhere else.

I agree that if the tree stumps were simply used as legs to support pieces of wood and it was properly balanced it might work.
The ones in the picture are obviously nothing but a couple of stumps with a tank sitting on top. Really bad idea.
