I'm going to have to agree about the WC advertising...
How is it really possible that thousands of the same species are suddenly available all over the world (yes, not just America), and are so small?
Chances of all these cichla being truly WC is slim IMO.

Cichla breed seasonally in the wild. This is the season that young of the year are available.
The babies shoal, so are easier to collect at this size and age.
At this small size, they can be invoiced on export documents as young 'Crenicichla' as well.
If you want to check back, it was exactly one year ago that I had baby orinos of same size available.

So I have some crappy news..... C. temensis scale count is 100-125, C. piquiti is 83- 104, C. intermedia is 96-108. Obviously this fish isn't C. piquiti but I still haven't found a scale count for C. orinocensis.

What kind of orinos could those be?? I have 9 almost 2 inch orinos and they have no solid horizontal stripe...

Plus their head structure looks a little too elongated, but I might be wrong....

That vendor is raping people over double what we paid.
