If it wasn't already stated, Lucanus also had 70 of these in late March, they're out there boys.

I spot 5 in that pic not 30 or 70 just saying. Again everyone has the right to choose who they want to purchase stuff from, all I'm saying is be cautious.

In Oliver's defense., he has been in this industry for a couple of decades and he is one of the guys I've admired and has a lot of field experience. There are fish named after him, he's been published regularly in many journals and articles even in Japan. However...he is human, we all make mistakes. I don't think his intentions were to defraud anyone. However, he has been wrong on several occasions in the past that I could recall, and with as many as he deals with, its actually a very good record. He actually can name probably hundreds of species that most people here have never even heard of.

As for this intermdia fiasco, it has been a roller coaster ride for a few years now, many of us have fallen victim to the situation. Remember about 6 years ago, they imported some that were suppose to be intermedia and all turned out to be temensis. So some of this mis-information starts in the country of origin. You have to realize sometimes dealing with these 3rd world countries, we send money down and they send us either the wrong fish, different fish or no fish at all. Its a risk that we take, and you guys can enjoy. If it works out perfectly all the time, I'd be rich by now.

Well said Wes....I think we'd all be rich by now if it worked out perfectly lol. I have read many of his publications and have his big Below Water book which is awesome. I've been talking to him regarding these fish but can't seem to get pictures of these small size he has. I'd like to see some photos as there are not many legit juvenile intermedia pictures out there.

Very well put.
The excitement can sometimes be the gamble that we often lose.

I think you did a great job explaining everything.
