I have some juvi peacocks and haps all water parameters good and the breeder said parasites are highly unlikely.
Anyway I recently noticed one with long white stringy poop and he began to stop eating otherwise he looks fine (I'd assume caused by stress from shipping a couple weeks ago but I'm not certain) . I had been treating with melafix for the past coue weeks as part of the quarantining process because another fish had some torn up fins. I saw on the bottle melafix is supposed to help "bacterial fish infections" but so far it hasn't seemed to help this guy.
Do you think melafix is the way to go or do you think I need to switch to something else, if so what?
Thanks

Pic of the fish it's the albino, he's not pooping now but it looks white and hairlike when he does the other one is the one with 3 black spots it took me like 10 mins to get that pic lol but that's what it looks like, white to almost clear
Thanks again

I have api general cure. Do you think I should put back in the carbon, do a water change and start general cure tommorow?

Just to update you guys on the tank, it's been about 3 days out of the 4 of api general cure and I noticed the albino has brown poop again along with the others as far as I can tell. Still one is not interested in eating (I haven't seen him poop so idk if it's white). So I was curious if you guys think a second round of general cure would be beneficial and how to do it. I assume water change and pour more in but don't know if I should wait 2 days or more
Thanks for all the help

Do at least a 25% water change, and follow the directions for API General Cure for next dosing period, dosing for the full tank.

To add to this, NLS Hex Shield fed exclusively for 3-5 days will also help clear up some of the most common gastrointestinal issues. Good luck.
