So I had two California Spotted Round rays and one recently died. I assumed because my female always chased him around during feeding time. So after his death I put him in the freezer until my friend could dissect him. Then two days ago my Marbled cat shark passed away. These two were not in the same tank but were purchased from the same store who got them from the same vendor. Both never really gained weight and after being fed each day till they were full. We just got done cutting into them and found worms and worm eggs. My Stingray had so many of them that they caused him to be constipated.

I say all that to ask what can I do to treat my female stingray as she still wont gain weight after being fed each day till her stomach bulges. Within 24 hours her stomach will be sunken in again and her bones by her tail are showing. She goes through phases where she'll look like she's gaining some weight and then a couple of weeks later will loose it all. What medication should I use? I really want to save her. Thank you so much.

Damn dude that sucks. I don't know too much about internal worms/parasites but you'd probably get a faster response on reef central.

Also, you could put it in the sharks/rays section for a faster reponse.
