Nice. I was considering banding the frame for added strength.

I've had the metal frame ones for swimming in the past they made it through a few hurricanes although not major ones with no problem.

Floating plants like Water Lettuce and Hyacinth (legal in Florida?) are great for sucking out extra nitrates and other pollutants that cause green water. I used barley hay in my koi pond to keep it clear as well.

I see what looks like Hyacinth (had to Google it lol) all over when I go fishing.
I didn't see anything about either one being illegal. I will definitely look into them, thanks for the tip!

i made a frame out of 2x4s and used a 45mil pond liner.
dont trust the regular liner that it comes with. not as strong
as you think.
