Intex Above Ground Pool for fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ive used these and so have many others.
it should be ok long as the pool is coverd
so there isnt direct sun light on it if it's being
set up out side or the pool liner wont last long.
also no fish that can damage the liner also like
plecos and etc. housed some large common
plecos once for a friend and they ate through the
liner and caused a leak.

if u want to use it and but you dont feel secured about the liner
you can buy a liner frm lhs and overlap it.

I have used the @500 gal, and the 1000 gal, for overwintering cool water fish in the basement, and keeping Tilapines outside in the summer.

above the 500 gal for overwintering lilies, koi and Uruguayan cichlids in the basement.
below the 1000 gal Bestway outside with Coptodon (Tilapia) zilii.

The Bestway, seems to be not as well made as the Intex, the braces are a bit thinner.

Here's my summer escapes 10" metal frame. Made by poly group. Been set up for a year and a half now. Only problem was I put the siphon in and forgot it all day and a heater burned a hole in the wall. I easily fixed it with epoxy. No problems from that spot.
