Has anyone ever used one of these for a temporary pond? I am looking at getting the 10'x30" model

thanks for the link, I tried the search but didnt come up with anything useful!

I would go with the hard pool. Intex makes one that's not inflatable that is the same size. The inflatable ones make me uneasy. All I can think about is a monster cat's pectoral fins ripping into it.

I am looking on ebay for a pond liner to supplement the sides, I ideally would like to get the hard sided one or just use the pond liner by itself and build a frame out of 2x4's. However, its a temporary summer pond and this may be the most cost efficient method.

OK here it is I had one of the inflatable 8'x30" set up for about 2.5 years no problem except heating during the winter power outages... I had everything you can think of in it pacus aros big cats stingrays and never had a problem with a leak. now about a year ago I set up another one but this was the metal framed 10'x30" same with that no porblems except the heat issue which is easily resolved with a good cover and some big heaters (heaters just dont help when your power goes out) I will see if I can find some links to old pics of my set up... the only time I had a huge algae problem is when I tried to ad water lettuce and hyacinth that didnt go well my lights were to weak
