So I have a pond that I made out of some spare wood I had and plans were to use an intex pool as a liner. But the problem I ran into is that the pool has holes for a filter. Any ideas as to how I can plug them up?

Alright thanks
What where you stocking in your index poolsave urself the trouble and run a 45mil epdm firestone liner... the intex liners are made of vinyl, thinner and more brittle. I ran intex pools for a few yrs with and without an additional 45mil epdm on top. My fish were poking holes through just the intex liner in no time. They patch easy but the epdm holds up much better.

Thanks for the info. I just bought one and I am on the fence now if I want to use it or not might just throw it outside. I have been researching the frp sectional tanks for potable water. Might be a better bet"run of the mills" for stock, tsn, achara, aros, pbass, pacu, gar, ss turtle, etc. in the 18"-36" range... Catfish arms go right through the inex liners. The pools/liners also do not hold up well when moved. they dry out and become brittle over time. I ran my 1st 12' pool with an additional 45mil epdm overtop for 2yrs and never had a problem. Ran a 2nd 10' pool "stock" and i ended up patching it multiple times before tearing it down after 1 year. $50-$100 is money well spent for the extra 45mil epdm. for extra assurance even if ur just keeping goldfish in it.
