I've been thinking...Cousin Willie, my 19" TSN, can smell a new fish in the tank. BAM! It's gone. I'll find the link where he ate my 8-9" LMB. Anyway, if I were to put a divider in one end of the tank and let him get used to the smell of new fish for a while...do you think he would leave it alone? Anyone have any thoughs?

I always feed before introductions to point they cant eat but a divider might help to.

I was thinking that too. I'd hate to see him break his nose.:nilly:

i don't think he will ever leave the other fish alone.. and i think the divider thing will have to be a forever thing to be safe... and every divider i have had usually gets broken from the constant pounding of the other fish trying to break through.. i have separated a jag from a huge loving synodontis... and so far so good..but if you choose to use a divider make sure it is well enforced.. did you want this thread to be moved to general aquaria disscussions forum.. where you will receive post count and maybe more info,....?
