Is willie alright with fish the same length as him. For alot of species if you put a new fish in that is 1/2 the size of a predator that means it is food to them.

fish will be fish... feeding first and a divider may help... he may even be ok with the new tankmate for a while... but hes still a fish... so if he ever decides he nolonger wants a roommate theres a good chance he wont go through the same eviction process people go through...

Good points. There is a 7" barracuda in the tank and 4x 8-9" pleco's. They were there first...hence the reasoning.

i would do the divider suggestion is it just me or fish seem to get along when they are put together in a new tank?
with new water

Change decor so they can establish territory all at the same time...

I will try it with the divider(I'll have to make one), 50 or so feeders and move what little decor there is. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Well, a month or so later. gut loaded him, pulled the divider, 3 days 3 6" tinfoils gone....free tsn.
