thats good practice especially if you have rarer bichirs but they are talking about introducing them to a main tank after quarantine if they quarantine i've only put one fish in a QT because it was sick but then again i can't think of any fish i've bought that costed more then $50 so i'm not too worried about loseing fish mabye cause most of my LFS are pretty clean and i never add the water in the bag the fish comes in just the fish
