Nice fh's! You know I had a hard headed flathead ZZ male that just didn't look like it had potential to grow a kok, so I sold it to my LFS he was actually just about 8 inches. A couple months later I saw him again he sprouted a nice head. I guess the lady kept feeding him mussels and some kind of seafood and it just boosted his head. I couldn't it believe it.

you can make just about any flowerhorn male and female grow somewhat of a head. but very unhealthy diet of high fat foods mostly live.
