Yeah I learned the male does harras the female in a Tank with just them by thereselves but since putting them in a community set up they easily hold there own and become much more of a compatible unit.

I agree these are interesting fish, I just recently picked up half dozen and house them in 45 gal high. Though a bit testy with each other, I haven't as yet seen any overt aggression.
They do great in groups and multiply quickly lol. Mine were never overly aggressive in breeding like convicts.
