INTRODUCING my (NEW) Thorichthys ELLIOTI pair

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Approx 2.5" so still really young.

Some of the best coloration I have ever seen for that age & size!

Congrats on an awesome looking pair! Just think of how they will look a year from now!

Thorichthys maculipinnis (ellioti) do not always get the dorsal blotch in the females. I think that there is only a portion of their range where the females do get the blotch , and it is more typical for thme to not have a blotch.
Vey attractive pair , one of my favorite genus' is Thorichthys.... I have 8 species so far ....still need to get affinis ,callolepis, and green mixtecos though .

Good luck with t hose guys should look AMAZING when they get to be adults and have full color

Thanks for that info Tim...

I used to have a large male Ellioti (pictured below) but the quality and coloration weren't as good as my current Elliotis.

Hats off to you! These are some very nice fish. I have only seen very small ones in person and they never showed a fraction of the color and pattern displayed by yours. I may have to reconsider picking some up. Thanks for sharing and good luck with breeding them.

Thanks...

This is what they looked like when I first got them at 1.5" about a month ago.
