I do agree that this fish will have drop-tail in the future. Its nothing ugly or bad for the fish, Its just an undesirable trait. Drop-tail occurs in older ZZ based FH. I've also heard it refered to as "soft fins". Its a trimac trait where the tail begins to turn and face downwards and sag. Fan-tails which you will see on mostly all Kamfas will hold the shape its entire life.
With that being said, I dont think I would call this guy Kamfa. Eyes are red, ZZ mouth, No fin wrap, Long tapered body, Plum on head. Very nice pearly fish with BIG potential, But he is still a ZZ.

Thanks for clearing that up. So Essentially the "drop tail" is a trimac trait that breeders find undesirable ?
Im not too worried about exactly what he is since all are hybrids. Id rather him be able to breed so I am cool with him being ZZ since he looks nothing like the common ZZs all over! In regards to the tail hopefully it isnt severe? I dont really mind the look if its not too bad. I put another powerhead in with him for more current in the water so the tail has to work harder (read that helps a lil?)...... so I guess we'll see!
