Hey guys, I had a 55 gallon standard 4' tank I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. A friend gave me another 55 gal reptile tank with no center support and a cracked panel. So has anyone tried using a 55 gallon as a vertical tank? My concern is that it will be too much water pressure for the thin glass they use. Got everything cut apart and ready to be siliconed, removed one end pane. Going to use a canister filter to make a little waterfall so there won't be any dead spots. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I don't think it would work at least not in the long run. The water pressure would be too much for the glass.
