Read the entire thread...wow. I still have some butterflies about puttin water in a wood structure, but I have to say that these tanks are awesome. What was the cost compared to an acrylic or glass of the same type?

And yes... I would love to see the finished tank!

i got a question for your plywood tank, when you drill into the thickness of the plywood to connect your base to the side panels, won't the thickness part split? the 3/4 inch thickness? i asked the home depot guys and they said it would split.
