The IO Rodeo connects to an Adriuno board, the board then connects to a PC via USB which also powers the whole thing.
The software works with mac (me), windows, and Linux.
The software is all free and open source.
The software lets you take measurements and make your own calibration curves.
So if you have a different test kit then the API, or want to test something other then the basic 3, or probably want to test saltwater at all. Then you can make your own curves, the problem is you'll need samples of a known consintration across the sample range. ( standards ).
If you all haven't figured out the madness to my testing it goes like this.
Since i can't know exactly what the number should be in advance i can't do conclusive testing.
I can however perform actions that should force the numbers to move in predictable ways and bombard the thing with tests looking for that movement.
At this point i'm trusting the thing.
I'm simply keeping an eye out for it to tell me something that would be totally of base.
Any who.
14 hours later ( give or take ).
