Have you considered putting a background on that tank? What's that ugly fish in pic #2. Need a few more cichlas in that huge tank.

I have but I was thinking about just doing a black back round to match the over flows. I don't really want a 3D background they just tacky IMO. I could do better with real materials.
And it's a 'Petenia Splendida' or Green Bay Snook.
And I plan on adding about 10-12 more cichla to the tank. Just waiting for the more rare stuff to appear.

I think black back would look killer. If you don't want to paint the tank, you can put black vinyl or black painted plywood behind.
Pretty much all the rare stuff is out. What else is there?. You know something I don't? You getting stuff from Laz?
PS that snook doesn't do anything for me. haha
