IPHONE VS ANDROID!

Droid, you can't run 3rd party software on iPhone w/o hacking it. And that voids warranty. Plus most droids are technically better, as in faster processors and video cards so, droid wins. Also the variety is a big draw, like OMG THEY FINALLY CAME OUT W/ COLOR IPHONES, when theres already like 40 droids to choose from. The whole apple thing will die soon, Steve jobs was the soul of the company, w/o him they are screwed.

Those sound like pretty good options and I might wait until my upgrade comes do and get another.If I go that route though the phone may already be equipped with the upgraded format.I would look into an older non upgraded phone if the price is right....or I might go back to an Android phone.
I read somewhere that they pitched the iPad mini to Steve jobs like 10 times and he shot it down every time and said while he was alive he would never sign off on it because it was a terrible idea. The iPad mini was the first product they released after his death.
you make many valid points but apple isn't going anywhere. Even if you just repackage the same ol same ol too many people will buy it. it's here to stay at least for our life time. heck, they did well by even dominating the phone market in the first place. i'm sure it wasnt a part of their business plan when they started up the business
Im not talking soon, but steve jobs, who he was, what he stood for drew in a lot of the apple crowd in the first place. A lot of people i know are upgrading to droid or windows because of it, jobs wanted the ipad mini to be 200 for the most expensive one. But nope, that proved that the financial side controls things there now. A lot of tech people are dropping apple entirely. Of course there will be some of the people who just dont like change and will stick with apple, but i dont think it will ever be like it was a couple years back for them.

Based on what? Tech reviews by biased hipsters that refuse to accept that Apple is a dominant force in the computer, tablet, & phone market? Yes, Jobs was an innovator and had a great strategic mindset, but just because he is gone doesn't mean a billion dollar company is going to fail. Lose some marketshare, sure, but not become a relic by any stretch of the imagination.
Regardless of losing ground in the phone arena, they continue to dominate in the personal computer market regardless of peoples opinions. Especially with Windows 8. What a huge pile of crap. I'm planning on storing/trashing my brand new Win8 computer and buying a MAC. I've now wasted $800 on a turd. As much as I hate IOS7, I'm still looking at getting a MAC to replace this POS that I bought, but I may consider and Android phone if they do not do something about the IOS7.
The big difference here is that Apple is now becoming one of the majority marketshare holders, which by default makes them no longer cool/hip.
On a side note, who cares about being able to buy a phone in different colors? Just tells me people will pay for anything just to be different.
