it's all on topic. He asked who had iphones, we just explained why we didn't ;) I think it's inevitable in these threads. Like the PS3 Xbox wars

I just noticed you said that. There is no phone out w/ a higher resolution than the iPhone 4 right now. There is a Sharp IS03 which coming out soon in Japan, but it's the same resolution. The LG GW900 and Sharp Aquos 941SH are the next closest thing. The screen is the one thing I do like about the new iPhone.

Yup, iPhone is leading the pack with 960x640. HTC Evo has 800x480.

Even the monster Droid X has a measly 854x480 with its huge screen. My Droid 1 has a tiny screen compared to the X, yet it has the same resolution. My gf has the X I can definitely see how keeping the same resolution as the Droid 1 has affected image quality.
 
You get all bent out of shape and say things like apple releases old technology and calls it new. I actually think I know the reason for this. When apple releases something, rarely does it have a major flaw. They spend lots of time testing and preparing their updates, hardware, and software. Other companies hastily release their hardware with laggy, bug-ridden software. Its seriously a popularity contest at this point. What it really comes down to is supporting accessories. How easy is it to find lots of choices for skins/cases/docks or even cracks/unlocks for these other "amazing" phones you all mention? Apple knows what they are doing and companies that produce accessories know they will sell them. Apple sells itself! Even with all this bad media coverage (which apparently got to you all) apple still sells like crazy. My iphone friggin rocks and there isn't much I can't do with it. Apple finds out they are lacking because their screen doesn't have high resolution, they up it, they realize their video quality sucks, they up it, low camera megapixel, they up it. People crack their iphones so that they can attach pictures to messages, apple adds this feature to its operating system. They constantly realize where they are lacking and begin to work on the issue. Other companies come out with phones and scream that they have one-upped apple's iphone and then a few weeks later, apple upgrades their hardware/software and suddenly they catch up with the competition again.
 
You can buy accessories for Android all over the place just as well. And there's more of a variety so you don't just have to pick black or white. I don't have Apple or Android as a phone as I mentioned earlier. Android was the same way as people were rooting their phones for tethering so they added that. There's gonna be fanboys for each OS...
 
Black or white? You can get iphone accessories in tons of colors. If you're talking about the iphone itself...you have to be reckless to have a phone that expensive and not put a case on it. Maybe that's just me because I tend to get very dirty and beat up at work. On the talk about Tapatalk Forum App...I brought that up to Aquaria Central and they said it wasn't worth it because they would have to pay and didn't think they would still get money from the ads they have. I really hope this forum does go tapatalk because it would make things much easier.

Too many rumors and speculation over this. It's been going on for years, and every single time some random person with an empty blog space predicts when the iPhone is coming to Verizon, they end up being wrong. I'll believe it when I hear it from Steve Hitler and Verizon themselves. Until then, it's all heresay.
