I know nothing......But here's my daughter's directions :
Okay, this is how I saved my own music when my user account for the computer crashed, and itunes was lost. First if you haven't already re-install itunes 'Apple' so that it comes up as a blank account or only having those few songs on it. If you have blank CD's I recommend (just in case) burning those songs that you said you have onto it to be safe. Next plug in your ipod or music device that still has the songs you still have on it, and upload/transfer those songs onto the blank account, ::Now! I think what you have to do is choose to 'sync' your ipod's songs to the new account so that those songs are then transfered back onto the blank account. Then after that, you can upload the CD's music if you did have some songs, to that so they won't be erased. Because! When you sync your Ipod's music back to the computer it WILL erase those songs that are still left on the itunes.
If you're still having problems, or if you want me to explain it better if you don't understand please tell me so. I really would hate for you to lose all of your songs.
