ipod help

i just got a ipod off of craigslist but can't get it to connect to my pc when i try to connect it, it say saftly remove storage device but the ipod says don't disconnect and when i try to stop it it says error in device can't be stopped. i've tried everything even reseting it. I don't no what to do itunes doesn't even detect it. It works fine besides that thats the prob i have with it but it sucks seeing i payed a 100 bux for a p.o.s thats probably broke and can't be fixed

Mine does that (I have a 1st gen. 1 gb nano and a crappy cord), but it's because of the cord.
But, I'm getting a new shiny 32 gb ipod touch for my birthday, which'll be AWESOME!!!!

edit: just found em, yup 32 gigs now.

its the latests version of itunes and it a 5 gen ipod classic 30 gig

Call Apple support.

I got 3 iPod touch(es) as gifts for my friends and one of them didn't work very well, and they were brand new 32Gs. It wouldn't sync correctly and doesn't play the music. I can only imagine what you're going through!

If anything, you can trade it back to the Apple store for credit towards a new one.

I have seen bigger then 32G my friend has a 80G i only have a 4G video mp3.
